この規格は油圧機器及びその配管などのうち、圧力21MPa以下の部分に用
いられる管さし持ち込み熔接フランジ(以下フランジという)について規定する。
Among hydraulic devices and pipes this standard provides for the slip-on welding pipe flanges(called merely "flanges"in the text) used under 21MPa of pressure.
 
フランジの種類はフランジの形状、使用するボルトの種類およびOリングみぞの有無
によって区分し、次の表による。

フランジ用材料はJIS G3101のSS400、JIS G4051のS20C、S25Cまたは、これと
同等のものとする。
Materials for flanges should follow JIS G3101-SS400, JIS G4051-S20C, S25C,
or should be equal to them in quality.
 
 
フランジの形状、寸法及び表面あらさは、付票1～4による。
Shapes, sizes and surface texture are shown on the list 1 to 4.
 
フランジの表面には使用上有害な割れ・ひび・ばり・きず・さびなどの欠陥があっては
ならない。
Ther shouid be no crack, flaw, crevice, rust that are harmful for use on the surface
of flanges.
 
フランジの検査は材料・形状・寸法及び外観についておこない、3.4.5.の規定を満足
しなければならない。
ただし、受渡し当事者間の協定により、材料検査を省略することができる。
Inspections should be perfromed on materials, shape, sizes and sppearances, and
all the standard 3 to 5 should be satisfied.

製品の呼び方は、規格番号、規格名称、種類を示す記号及び大きさの呼びによる。
例 JIS B2291 SHA40 または油圧用21MPa²管フランジSHA40
Products should be called by the standard number (or standard name), the sign
of types and sizes.
Example JIS B2291 sha40. or 21MPa slip-on Welding pipe Flanges for Hydraulic
Use SHA40.
 
フランジは次の事項を刻印、またはこれに代わる方法により外周面に表示する。
（1）製造業者名又は登録商標
（2）種類を示す記号及び大きさの呼び
例 SHA 40

(1)A producer name or a trade-mark
(2)A sign of types and sizes
